Water

In Africa, people spend hours each day walking miles to get water. Anywhere you go in Africa, you will see women and children carrying large jerry cans walking to or from a water source. The average jerry can weighs about 40 lbs.

-884 million people around the world do not have access to clean water, approximately 1/8 of the earth's population.

-5,000 children die EACH DAY from a disease caused by unclean water.

One project that PATH Ministries (which Otino Waa falls under) is to create access to clean drinking water for both the residents of Otino Waa and the surrounding communities.

It's not as easy as they make it look
