Gerson Miranda married Jackie Loftsgard in Granada, Nicaragua on August 3, 2013. Their wedding was held at Hotel Granada, across the road from the beautiful Guadalupe Church. Jackie loved Hotel Granada and the city of Granada because it was so full of color and strong architecture. Jackie, who spent most of her life in Nicaragua, said her vows in Spanish, while Gerson, who is Nicaraguan, said his in English. The wedding guest were from all over Nicaragua and the United States. Just before sunset the bride and groom walked along the streets admiring the multicolored buildings and unique doors of Granada. The flowers were of mixed orange and yellow flowers feature birds of paradise. After dancing, cutting cake and dinner Mr. and Mrs. Miranda were sent off in style by a horse-drawn carriage to tour Granada in the evening.
